This Week’s Heartwarming Helping of Newly Adopted Cats for Fresh Feline Pawrents (January 24, 2025)

Another week into the new year, and although we can see madness coming in the future, for now, things are pretty good. At least from the ICHC purrspective. We don't know what it is about 2025, but we have seen some of the cutest cat adoption stories go up online already, and whatever else happens, that's a good thing that we hope will keep happening.

Every single Friday morning, we do our very best to find the most wholesome cat adoption stories on the web and introduce you to the newest adopted faces. Because one thing that doesn't change year by year is that seeing adorable cats find their purrfect forever homes makes us happy.

As always, we want to give a huge shout out to everyone who adopted this year, and an even bigger thank you to everyone who adopted senior cats, sick cats, rehomed cats, cats with behavioral issues and any other cat that requires a bit more care than most. We wish you all many, many happy and healthy years with your new pawfect companions.

Aggressive cats get this label far too easily sometimes. Some really are, that's true, but others are like this guy. You, too, would be defensive if you went through the things that some of these cats go through. That doesn't mean that you - or they - don't deserve a chance. And we're thankful that you gave him one.
